The Bohinj ski resorts manage more than 30km of high-quality and well-maintained ski slopes, which are open from December to May if the snow conditions allow. Senožeta Sports Centre in Srednja vas also offers night skiing.
Vogel Ski Resort
The bottom station of the Vogel Cable Car is located only 700m away from Villa Stare. A Paradise for Cross-Country Skiers in Bohinj
Favourable winters in Bohinj allow us to maintain over 70km of cross-country ski tracks. Almost half of the tracks are located in the Lower and Upper Bohinj Valley, several kilometres of tracks stretch across the Soriška planina alpine meadow and Vogel, whereas the remaining tracks are located in the area of the Triglav Pokljuka Sports Centre and on Goreljek and Gorjuše.
A three kilometre-long area along the Senožeta Ski Slope is lit up at night to allow cross-country skiing during the night as well. The tracks are usually arranged in circles and enable both, the skate and the classic cross-country skiing technique.
